Before starting her own practice, she spent over five years at AIIMS, New Delhi, trained at PGI Chandigarh, and served as faculty at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia. She completed her MDS at Manipal and her BDS at Nair Hospital, Mumbai.
